This shaded walkway runs half the length of a semi-private garden in Battersea, London. Minimally structured and detailed to reduce effects from the elements, this timber construction uses no screws or nails other than at the base of the foundations. The alternating sides the shading fins take are based on the use and shading needs of the different areas of garden.
